Arctic Monkeys played at the Majestic Ventura Theater, California last night, and treated to the crowd to a brand new track.

The gig was their first in over a year, and offered an intriguing glimpse into what their new album might sound like.

‘Do I Wanna Know?’ is a menacing slow burner, sounding like a brooding Queens Of The Stone Age in a contemplative mood, riff and solo and all.

The Sheffield band’s affiliation with Josh Homme is well documented after he produced their third album Humbug, and it seems that his influence is still running strong through the band.

In March drummer Matt Helders claimed that the band will release their fifth album at some point this year, following the huge success of 2011’s Suck It And See.
